Saheli App for Pregnant Women

“Saheli” is a multilingual mobile App devoted to pregnancy care. It delivers short entertaining and informative daily videos for pregnant women in English, Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi, Marathi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Guiding them along the pregnancy in a friendly, entertaining and informative manner. The content of the app is generic lifestyle related during pregnancy and not related to medical issues. Though in a channel called Dr. Speak, bytes from medical practitioners will be carried. The App also provides few more interesting and important features as described below.

The content of the App would be organised in channels as under :

A) Just For you! – Everyday one short new video would be received by a pregnant lady as per her EDD. The content of a video would be based on the weekly development of pregnancy as time progresses. Videos would be engaging friendly narrative in nature with high quality visuals, scripts and music. With a “Tip for Today”.

C) Doctor’s Speak – Will contain bytes of doctors speaking about specific medical issues like anemia, blood pressure etc.

D) Heart to Heart – Community chat group for all the pregnant ladies who downloaded the App.

E) My Phone Book - Here the user will be able to store all important phone numbers so that she can make calls directly from this APP.

F) Shopping: This icon would allow the pregnant women, especially in the urban areas to access stuffs that they may need during her pregnancy.

G) Smile Please – Some generic, feel good entertainment videos would be pushed from time to time to lift up the mood of the lady.

"Saheli" es una aplicación móvil multilingüe dedicada a la atención del embarazo. Ofrece videos diarios entretenidos e informativos para mujeres embarazadas en inglés, hindi, bengalí, punjabi, marathi, canada, tamil, telugu y malayalam. Guiándolos a lo largo del embarazo de una manera amistosa, entretenida e informativa. El contenido de la aplicación es genérico relacionado con el estilo de vida durante el embarazo y no está relacionado con problemas médicos. Aunque en un canal llamado Dr. Speak, se llevarán los bytes de los médicos. La aplicación también proporciona algunas características más interesantes e importantes como se describe a continuación.

El contenido de la aplicación se organizaría en canales como en:

A) Sólo para ti! - Todos los días, una mujer embarazada recibirá un breve video nuevo según su EDD. El contenido de un video se basaría en el desarrollo semanal del embarazo a medida que el tiempo avanza. Los videos serían una narrativa amigable y atractiva con imágenes, guiones y música de alta calidad. Con un "Consejo para hoy".

C) Hablar con el médico: contendrá bytes de doctores que hablan sobre problemas médicos específicos como anemia, presión arterial, etc.

D) Heart to Heart: grupo de chat comunitario para todas las mujeres embarazadas que descargaron la aplicación.

E) Mi guía telefónica: aquí el usuario podrá almacenar todos los números de teléfono importantes para que pueda hacer llamadas directamente desde esta aplicación.

F) Compras: este ícono permitiría a las mujeres embarazadas, especialmente en las áreas urbanas, acceder a las cosas que puedan necesitar durante su embarazo.

G) Sonríe por favor: algunos videos genéricos, que se sienten bien, serían empujados de vez en cuando para mejorar el estado de ánimo de la dama.
